The Parent Staff Association(PSA) met last week and it was a busy night as we started to plan some child and parent events for the year. More information to follow soon but in the meantime some ways you may be able to help:
– There are 147 kids across all age groups involved in Blackhall primary school football, all run by a brilliant group of parent volunteer coaches and coordinators. We are looking for companies to sponsor new Blackhall Football Shirts so get in touch if you/your employer or a company you know might be interested.
– The PSA is looking for volunteers to help out in the school library. It doesn’t need to just be parents – grandparents, neighbours etc welcome too. If you can spare an hour once a week it’s a lovely way to be involved in the school.
– In fact the PSA is always looking for volunteers, and there will be a role to fit your availability and skill set. Currently we have vacancies for P1 reps, a secretary and we are keen to speak to people who might like to take on football coordinator/office bearer roles and could hit the ground running when current members terms come up in June. It really is a great way to meet people and be involved in school life.
